Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cleaning Operative at Stansted Airport, Essex. This permanent, part-time role offers 9 hours per week with Wed 6-hour and Sat 3-hour shifts at £13.00 per hour. You will keep areas clean, safe and well maintained and work as part of a team while delivering service.

Basic English is required; cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Training is provided and Mitie offers holiday entitlement, pension contributions, and MiDeals benefits.

Job Description

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under your own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, deliver excellent customer service and seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
