Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Cleaner in Belfast Crumlin Road to carry out cleaning tasks across the premises, maintain equipment, and follow health and safety procedures.

You'll work 4 days on 4 days off with 12 hour shifts, day or night as available. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential; you should be reliable, self-driven and professional in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting SLAs.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area, how and when to clean, and uses of cleaning equipment/chemicals with health and safety in mind.
• Undertake all required training to perform the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and on own initiative.
• Build positive relationships with customers and deliver excellent customer service.

What you will do as a Cleaner:

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs
• Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements
• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role
• Work within a team and can work under their own initiative
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
