Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cleaner in Belfast with morning shifts in Ormeau. You will keep equipment clean and safe, understand cleaning area needs, attend training, and work both in a team and independently to meet SLAs.

Role focuses on reliability, a flexible approach, and delivering high-quality service while building positive customer relationships and adhering to Health & Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Open, honest, self-driven and determined.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning equipment is clean, well maintained and safe.
• Understand area specifics, cleaning schedule and chemicals used.
• Complete required training for the role.
• Work in a team and also use own initiative.
• Deliver excellent customer service and seek improvements.

What you will do as a Cleaner:

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs
• Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements
• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role
• Work within a team and can work under their own initiative
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
