Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Basingstoke is seeking a friendly cleaner to help keep our premises clean, safe and welcoming. This hands-on role covers general cleaning duties across offices and communal areas.

You will work 19 hours weekly (Tue–Fri 9:30–13:30, Sat 9:30–12:30) with training provided; no prior cleaning experience required, and you’ll join a team focused on high standards and reliability. Full training and induction provided; uniform and PPE supplied; pension and referral scheme available.

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday - 9.30am to 1.30pm. Saturday 9.30am to 12.30pm.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, but don't worry-we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

• Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
