Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a part-time Cleaner to deliver high cleaning standards at a location in Ambleside, Cumbria. The role is permanent with 12.30 hours per week and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will follow SLAs, schedules, and health & safety rules while providing excellent customer service. You'll work within a team and independently, developing knowledge of cleaning areas and equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
