Classroom Support Assistant Flexible SEN Support (North Bristol)
About the Role

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will be working in specialist schools and provisions, offering practical support to pupils and staff. Your day‑to‑day work may include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access learning in a way that works for them
  • Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and resources
  • Helping with personal care and daily routines when needed
  • Stepping into different classes and age groups, building positive relationships along the way

No two days look the same, and the role offers plenty of chances to make a real difference.

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Are patient, caring and adaptable
  • Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Have experience supporting children or young people (formal or informal)
  • Are comfortable helping with personal care when required
  • Can drive to different North Bristol schools
  • Have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs

Previous experience as a Classroom Support Assistant or in an SEN setting is helpful but not essential. We provide full training and ongoing support.
