Job summary

Randstad Education is assisting a dedicated independent specialist school in Haywards Heath to recruit a Classroom Support Assistant. You will work with learners on small group and whole class bases, supporting SEN students with SEMH and ASC needs in a calm, inclusive environment.

The role starts ASAP, full-time, Monday–Friday 08:30–16:00, term-time only. You will contribute to an extensive personal development program and have access to funded training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant SEN experience required.
• Experience working with children and young adults (voluntary or paid).
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and activities.
• Supporting learners with SEN on small group and whole class basis.
