Job description

Classroom Assistant – Devizes

We are looking for a Classroom Assistant to support learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a well‑respected primary school in Devizes. The role is full‑time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, with a salary of £85 – 100 per day, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside specialist teachers to stimulate a dynamic learning environment.
• Engage, support and develop children’s learning, assisting with the delivery of creative and well‑planned lessons.
• Provide support across the curriculum in core subjects such as maths and English, and foundation subjects such as geography and PE.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recent graduate or experienced classroom assistant.
• Desirable previous working experience with children; mentoring, coaching, tutoring, nursery or childcare.
• Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues and learning difficulties is highly valued.
