Qualifications

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Classic Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an independent family-run garage, located in South Oxford.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Classic Vehicle Technician or Classic Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

  • Working hours from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Duties
  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
  • Mechanical/electrical fault diagnosis and repair, aftermarket ECU installation and custom wiring looms.
  • Underbody restorations, brake/fuel pipe replacement, general mechanical repairs and servicing, tyre fitting and wheel alignment.
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements
  • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Candidates that have a strong mechanical knowledge, with Classic or Motorsport Vehicles can be considered, if formal qualifications aren't present.
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Dedicated and committed approach.

Salary and Hours

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.

Hours of work for this Classic Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
