Overview

Rawles Motorsport is the UK’s leading Austin Healey specialist and restorer, known for exceptional quality, building modernised cars and resto-mods. A family run business, we also regularly work on other marques including Aston Martin, Jaguar, MG, and other British Marques. With strong forward orders we are looking to expand our team.

Our trim facility has been refurbished for 2025 and is fully equipped, well-lit and in a superb location overlooking our large showroom, its a classic car trimmers dream environment.

Job Description

You will join and add to a friendly team of professional classic car artisans who are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of classic car restoration and maintenance for our customers.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate all aspects of upholstery, including patterning, cutting, sewing, tacking.
  • Have excellent knowledge of leather, mohair and upholstery materials.
  • Be able to craft beautiful leather seats, tailored carpet sets, interior panels.
  • Be able to trim and fit hoods, tonneaus and hood bags for cars from our patterns.
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience trim and upholstery, be able to demonstrate the ability to craft classic car interiors. Luxury aerospace and marine industry experience also considered.
  • The successful candidate will be able to develop their skills and learn in a most pleasant environment.
