St Marie’s School invites applications for a Class Teacher and SENCo to join our supportive Catholic community. The role offers dedicated time for SENCo duties, with the teaching element allocated across primary year groups according to strengths and school needs.

We welcome experienced SENCo or ambitious teachers who understand SEND and are committed to inclusive education, with potential progression to Senior Leadership depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required or eligible
• Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive education
• Ability to lead and support colleagues in meeting diverse learner needs
• Excellent communication with children, parents, staff and external professionals
• Willingness to teach across the primary age range and contribute to school ethos

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality teaching across the primary range
• Fulfil SENCo responsibilities with dedicated time away from class
• Lead inclusive provision and develop strategies to support all learners
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet the needs of every child
