Job Title: KS1 / KS2 Primary Teacher

Location: Waltham Forest

Contract Type: Fixed term, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm

Rate: M1-M6 Outer London

We are hiring on behalf of a mainstream Primary School in Waltham Forest that provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all their students. They believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and we are seeking a passionate Classroom Teacher to join their school and help children achieve positive outcomes, especially those facing challenges in school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, following the school's curriculum while managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress, build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, and support the school's inclusive approach.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and adapt to different year groups and teaching styles with flexibility and enthusiasm.
Requirements
  • A Qualified Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching in a Primary School setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate and driven about working in and contributing to a supportive, inclusive school environment.
