Job description

Teach Now are recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Edgware for a teacher to join them after half term until the end of the academic year. This is a mixed more between teaching KS1 and running boosters and interventions with small groups of children out of the class room.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced teacher who is looking for a hybrid role in and out of the class room working with children across key stage 1. The right candidate for this role with have experience working in Key Stage 1 delivering engaging and effective lessons as well as experience and confidence running interventions for reading and writing.

The school is an Ofsted rated Good, 2 form entry in a bustling, cosmopolitan area surrounded by excellent transport links leading into London and the surrounding counties.

Qualificationsare requiredfor this role

The school are looking for individuals have:

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE, B.Ed, BA or Cert Ed.)
  • A minimum of one year experience in KS1
  • Dedication and passion about primary education
  • A creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
  • An honest, understanding and compassionate attitude towards children
  • Excellent teaching references
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A DBS check or happy to complete one
