Job summary

Trimley St Mary Primary School in Felixstowe is seeking a Class Teacher to join our KS2 team on a fixed-term contract from January 2027 to July 2027, with potential to become permanent. The role is 0.5 FTE (2.5 days a week) and must include a Tuesday.

We welcome Early Career Teachers, experienced KS2 teachers, and unqualified teachers who are passionate about children's learning. The successful candidate will contribute to a thriving, inclusive learning environment with strong teamwork.

Trimley St Mary Primary School is a larger than average, vibrant primary school situated on the outskirts of Felixstowe with 380 pupils currently on roll.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Class Teacher, who is passionate about young children's learning and development, to join our KS2 team. Ideally commencing in January 2027, although we are happy to delay the start date for the right candidate, this appointment will initially be offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of the summer term in July 2027, with the possibility of the position becoming permanent.

The position is for 2.5 days per week which must include a Tuesday to fit in with current staff timetables.
