Job summary

HED Haulage Ltd is hiring a Class 2 Tipper Driver to operate tipper trucks in Trafford Park and surrounding areas. You will transport aggregates and muckshift materials while performing daily checks and keeping accurate delivery records.

The role is full-time (with part-time options) on-site, with regular weekend overtime possible. A valid Class 2 HGV license, CPC, and tachograph card are required, and safety and reliability are essential.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Class 2 Tipper Driver role based in Trafford Park. The role involves safely operating Class 2 tipper trucks to transport aggregates and muckshift materials to and from sites across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and the North West. Day-to-day tasks include carrying out vehicle checks, following scheduled routes, and adhering to all road traffic and site safety regulations. The driver will maintain accurate delivery documentation, communicate clearly with dispatch, site staff, and customers, and represent HED Haulage in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong truck driving skills with proven experience operating tipper trucks.
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license; valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with dispatch, site personnel, and customers in a clear and respectful manner.
• Customer service skills, including a professional attitude, reliability, and the ability to handle deliveries and queries courteously.
• Good knowledge of local routes and basic navigation skills, with the ability to follow instructions and schedules.
• Strong focus on health and safety, including conducting daily vehicle checks and following site and road safety procedures.
