Job summary

The Best Connection Worthing is recruiting a Class 2 Shunter driver on a temporary basis. The role starts 1st September for at least four weeks to assist a busy client. You will move units around yards and depots, ensuring correct placement for warehouse and loading staff, with Shifting hours 13:00–22:00, Monday to Friday.

This temp-to-perm opportunity offers weekly pay and access to many roles across East Sussex, with nationwide branch support from The Best Connection network.

Qualifications

• Experience of a similar shunting role.
• A valid UK class 2 licence with 2 years driving experience.
• CPC Card is mandatory.
• Digi Card is mandatory.

Job description

Class 2 Shunter driver to work with our client on a temporary basis.

The role starts on 1st September for at least a four week period to assist them with their very busy period. You will be responsible for moving units and vehicles around the yard and depot, ensuring that everything is in the correct place at the right time for the warehouse and loading staff.

This is a Monday- Friday role, hours 1300-2200. This is initially a four week role however may be extended if the role needs it.
