Job summary

Panda is seeking a reliable Road Sweeper Driver based out of Bradford or Leeds to maintain clean, safe environments across client locations and regional sites. The role reports to the Transport Manager and offers a competitive hourly rate with full PPE, pension, and ongoing CPC/fleet training.

Shifts run 06:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, totaling 45 hours per week with overtime paid at 1.5x after 45 hours across Yorkshire including Sheffield.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience operating road sweepers is highly beneficial; fleet/training provided.
• Strong understanding of driver compliance, road safety and daily defect checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 road sweeping vehicles across designated routes.
• Perform pre-use vehicle inspections, complete logbooks, and report defects promptly.
• Sweep operations to high standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist wider transport and site operations as needed.
