QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking Class 2 drivers for a temporary role based in Melton Mowbray. You will deliver products across the UK and be accompanied by a driver’s mate for loading and unloading. This position involves manual handling of loads.

Typical day starts between 04:00 and 08:00 and lasts 10–12 hours, Monday to Friday, with ongoing work. Applicants must hold a valid HGV/LGV 2 licence, a valid CPC and digital tachograph card; more than six penalty points may disqualify.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV/LGV 2 licence is required.
• A CPC (Driver CPC) card is required.
• Digital tachograph card is required.

Job Description

We require Class 2 drivers to work for our client out of Melton Mowbray, within this role you will be delivering products throughout the UK. There will be manual handling of the load; however, you are accompanied with a driver’s mate.

Duration: This is a temporary role with ongoing work

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this position is £17 per hour and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships

Working Hours: The working hours for this position are Monday – Friday. You will start between 0400 and 0800, depending on the deliveries that day. A typical working day is between 10 and 12 hours per day.

Experience & Qualifications

All applicants must have a valid HGV/LGV 2 license and a digital tachograph card and a valid CPC. Previous experience within a commercial driving position is desirable. We cannot accept applicants who have more than 6 penalty points.
