Job summary

Driver Hire Wakefield is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Jet Vac Driver to cover contracts with water authorities across Yorkshire/Northumbria. You will drive and operate a Class 2 Jet Vac vehicle on site-based projects, with long site blocks and some nights out.

The role pays £17.37 per hour, with nights away paid at £25 per night. The ideal candidate holds a Class 2 licence (1+ year), CPC and Tacho card, and has Jet Vac experience with no more than 6 points, plus good English communication.

Qualifications

• Held Class 2 licence for 1+ years.
• CPC and Tacho card.
• Previous Jet Vac experience required.
• No more than 6 points.
• Good understanding of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Working on contracts for the likes of Yorkshire / Northumbria Water
• Driving and Operating Class 2 Jet Vac Vehicle
• Working on sites for 5/6 days at a time
• Some nights out required (paid at £25 per night)
