Job summary

The Best Connection Scotland is recruiting for a Class 2 Home Delivery Driver in Clydebank, Scotland. You will be part of a 2-person team delivering to homes across the Central Belt with start times typically 7am. The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and good English.

Salary is hourly with weekend/overtime rates; pension and holiday pay are provided. Ongoing full-time hours and a physically demanding but rewarding role are offered.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV Licence with 2 years min experience.
• Continuous driving for at least 3 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Documented work history.
• References.
• Excellent customer service skills - must have a good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Load materials onto vehicle and deliver to customers' homes.
• Deliver and unload to customers' homes as part of a 2-man team.
• General upkeep of vehicle and equipment.

Class 2 Home Delivery Driver (JN -092025-12467) Clydebank, Scotland

Salary: GBP15.95 - GBP31.91 per hour

The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for Class 2 driver to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt Area.

You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you.

This role runs Sunday to Saturday, Depot is based in the north Glasgow area with working hours 7am-9am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min)

Weekend shifts only available too?

Basic duties will include:

• Loading materials onto vehicle
• Delivering and unloading to customers homes
• General upkeep of vehicle.
• This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness.
• Part of a 2 man Team

Requirements:

• Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 2 years min experience
• Continuous driving for at least 3 months
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Documented work history
• References
• Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English
• Monday to Friday £15.95ph first 8hrs
• £23.93ph after 8hrs and Saturday
• Pension payments made
• Holiday Pay accrued separately
