Job summary

Pertemps Maidstone seeks an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver in Tonbridge, Kent, offering £18.50 per hour on a full-time, temporary basis with potential for permanent placement.

The successful candidate will operate a Class 2 vehicle across Kent and surrounding regions, using a HIAB crane to load and unload materials safely. Daily duties include vehicle inspections, completing delivery documentation, and delivering strong customer service at each stop. A minimum of eight hours is guaranteed per shift.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence and HIAB certification are essential.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card holders preferred.
• Proven driving experience with reliability for an ongoing assignment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle delivering across Kent and surrounding areas.
• Operate HIAB crane to load and unload materials safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service at each stop.
