A leading waste management company in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an Experienced HGV Driver for Class 2 Sweepers (Left Hand Drive). The successful candidate will operate road sweepers, adhere to health & safety standards, and perform vehicle checks. Candidates must hold a Class 2 HGV licence with no more than 6 points, valid CPC, and Digital Tacho Card. The role offers a competitive salary of £13.91 per hour, ongoing training, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have left hand sweeper experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Experience in operating road sweepers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a road sweeper to clean streets and construction sites.
• Follow daily schedules for sweeping routes.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
