Job summary

SRC Group in Ipswich is seeking a reliable Mixer Driver to join our concrete operations. You will drive the mixer truck safely, maintain the vehicle and assist with site duties to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a Class 2 HGV licence with a valid Driver Tachograph Card, can perform basic vehicle maintenance, and communicates clearly with colleagues across departments to meet demanding site requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mixer Driver.
• Able to do vehicle maintenance.
• Must have Class 2 HGV Licence and Driver Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
• Maintain condition of the vehicle and ensure it is not subjected to unnecessary damage.
• Complete any maintenance on vehicle.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab.
• Comply with fuel directives from the Transport Department.
• Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure.
• To act in accordance with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices.
