Class 2 HGV Drivers Needed - Permanent Roles in Newton Abbot

Driver Hire and dh Recruitment (Torbay) is recruiting two Class 2 HGV drivers for permanent positions with a well-established Newton Abbot-based company. Experience working in a quarry or similar environment is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

This is a night shift position with a stable two‑week shift pattern and consistent weekly hours.

Pay and hours

• £18.49 per hour PAYE Advanced
• Night shifts: 6pm to 6am
• Average of 42 hours per two‑week period
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
• Weekly pay every Friday

About the role

This is a permanent Class 2 driving position working within a 24‑hour operation. Duties include safe vehicle operation, following on‑site procedures and working as part of a professional team. Although experience in quarry work is an advantage, it is not required.
