Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver to deliver building materials from the local branch to customers. You will load the HIAB, ensure loads are secure and legal, and complete around 14 daily drops before returning to the branch.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and strong customer relations. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for career progression across the group.

Qualifications

• Requires Class 2 driving licence and up-to-date CPC records.
• Holds Category B licence for 12+ months or more.
• Prior HIAB experience or willingness to train funded by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers with ~14 drops per day.
• Load HIAB, ensure safe, legal loading and secure cargo.
• Maintain professional conduct on the road and with customers.
• Reload at branch as needed and keep in communication with the branch team.
