Job summary

AFI-Rentals is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver based at our Wakefield depot. You will deliver and collect hire machines to and from customer sites in and around the local area, ensuring high standards of customer service. The role offers a £35,256 basic salary, with overtime, a contributory pension and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 licence and CPC.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries/collections.
• Outgoing and enthusiastic with excellent communication.
• Punctual and proactive with strong timekeeping.
• CSCS card is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience loading/unloading plant is advantageous; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire machines to/from customer sites from Wakefield depot.
• Represent AFI-Rentals with professional, customer-focused service.
• Maintain strong timekeeping and use initiative in daily tasks.
• Participate in training programmes including IPAF and load/unload training.
