Job summary

DB Foods Ltd is seeking a reliable LGV Class 2 Driver to join our Banbury team, delivering refrigerated products to retailers, butchers, and catering clients. The role combines hands-on driving with strong customer service and manual handling.

You will operate Class 2 vehicles, complete multi-drop deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and maintain accurate records while upholding health, safety and food hygiene standards. A flexible, proactive approach and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Flexible approach to workloads and early starts.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles for local and regional deliveries.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial and high-street customers.
• Load and unload vehicles with care.
• Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Adhere to health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Deliver professional and friendly service at every stop.
