Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Purfleet is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to help run our operations smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time. The role is permanent full-time with a 6am start from Monday to Friday, located at Purfleet RM19 1NA.

A typical day includes safe driving, adhering to regulations and performing vehicle checks, with duties that may involve manual handling of customer products. Competitive pension and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
