Job summary

F2 Recruitment is seeking two experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for an established client operating from the Glossop area (SK16). The role involves delivering kitchens, units and appliances across the UK, with many runs to the South of England. You will typically work in a two-person crew and may start early with long days.

This 12-week temporary contract will move to permanent with the client after successful completion. Pay is £16.00 per hour, with 25 days holiday on permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
• Minimum 21 years of age for insurance purposes
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Happy undertaking nationwide deliveries, including regular work in the South of England
• Physically capable of assisting with kitchen and appliance deliveries
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a two-person crew

Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens, kitchen units and appliances to locations throughout the UK, with a significant proportion of deliveries to the South of England.
• Most deliveries are double-manned due to distance and physical nature of the work.
• Load the vehicle in Glossop the previous afternoon or in the morning before travel to delivery locations.
• Be comfortable with early starts and long working days due to long-distance deliveries.
