Job summary

Meyer Timber is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team in Scotland. You will deliver timber products safely, provide excellent customer service, and follow our Good Driver Code. Start times typically between 5:00am and 6:00am with loads prepared by the Warehouse Team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years driving experience with 26 tonne vehicles
• Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
• Fully CPC qualified
• Multi drop experience would be advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• You will be the face of Meyer Timber, responsible for safely delivering our timber products in all areas of Scotland providing great customer service in line with our Good Driver Code
• Our trucks are readily loaded by our Warehouse Team so you can secure the load, complete your checks and head out for the day
• Start times range between 5:00am - 6:00am
• Curtain pulling and securing the load
• Checking paperwork on products
• Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• This role may include manual handling of our products from time to time; you must be comfortable doing so in the correct manner
