Job summary

Driver Hire Warrington & St Helens is seeking a Class 2 HGV driver for a full-time, permanent role with a leading cooking oil distributor. You will deliver and collect cooking oil, interact with customers, and handle paperwork on a daily basis.

Starting pay is £16.25 per hour, rising to £16.60 per hour plus holiday pay. Typical shifts are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, and a pension scheme, full uniform and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV driving experience preferred
• Ability to perform manual handling during collections & deliveries
• Good customer-facing communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh cooking oil to a range of locations (hotels, restaurants, schools, etc.)
• Collect used cooking oil from customers
• Manage face-to-face interactions during deliveries and collections
• Complete required delivery paperwork accurately
• Handball sealed barrels of cooking oils using provided equipment

We are currently assisting one of the UK's leading distributors of cooking oil, with their search for a class 2 HGV driver.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a friendly, helpful team, as a full time, permanent employee.

This class 2 HGV driving position involves:

• Delivering fresh cooking oil
• Collecting used cooking oil
• Dealing with customers face to face during deliveries & collections
• Driving to a range of locations, including hotels, restaurants, schools & more
• Completing necessary delivery paperwork
• Handballing sealed barrels of cooking oils, using the equipment provided

Drivers must be physically fit, to manage the manual handling that will be required during collections & deliveries.

As a class 2 HGV driver, you will be expected to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
