Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is looking for a Class 2 HGV driver to operate a category C vehicle from Ratcliffe on Soar. The role involves up to 8 deliveries or collections per shift to hotel chains across the UK, with tail lift operation and safe handling of caged goods.

Start times are around 04:00, with shifts lasting 9 to 12 hours. This is a temporary role with ongoing work and a 4 on 2 off pattern, paying £16.97 per hour PAYE plus 28 days holiday pro rata.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with caged goods and tail lifts.
• Experience completing paperwork and due diligence accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (category C) vehicle.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Comply with all road transport and health and safety regulations.
• Complete up to 8 collections or deliveries per shift.
• Load and unload caged goods with the use of a tail lift where necessary.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
