Meyer Timber Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team in Scotland. You will deliver timber products safely and provide excellent customer service in line with our Good Driver Code. Our trucks are loaded by the Warehouse Team so you can complete checks and head out for the day.

Start times are early (5:00am–6:00am). The role involves multi-drop deliveries, securing loads, paperwork checks, and daily vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving a 26-tonne vehicle.
• Class 2 licence with no disqualifications.
• Fully CPC qualified.
• Multi-drop experience is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Start times between 5:00am–6:00am.
• Multi drop deliveries across Scotland.
• Curtain, load securing and paperwork checks.
• Customer interaction and service.
• Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

What will you be doing?

You will be the face of Meyer Timber, responsible for safely delivering our timber products in all areas of Scotland providing great customer service in line with our Good Driver Code! Our trucks are readily loaded by our Warehouse Team so you can secure the load, complete your checks and head out for the day.

• Start times range between 5:00am – 6:00am
• Multi drop
• Curtain pulling and securing the load
• Checking paperwork on products
• Customer interaction
• Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

This role may include manual handling of our products from time to time; you must be comfortable doing so in the correct manner.

Am I right for the job?

• 2 or more years of 26 tonne driving experience
