JDR Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for an assignment based in Langley Mill, Nottingham. The role involves collecting loads from depots, shunting duties, and carrying out yard tasks, with a 45-hour week and Sunday to Thursday night shifts.

The role offers a base rate of £16.50 per hour plus a night shift premium of £2.49 per hour, with consistent night work and opportunities for reliable, long-term night shifts.

Competenze

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• A flexible approach to driving and yard duties.
• A reliable and professional attitude.

Mansioni

• Collect loads from depots in Bradford or Wakefield and return to Nottingham.
• Carry out shunting and yard duties at end of shift.
• Ensure all collections and movements are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Work Sunday to Thursday nights, averaging 45 hours per week.

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers for an assignment based in Langley Mill, Nottingham.

This is a great opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers looking for consistent night work, working 45 hours regularly per week.

The Role:

• Collecting loads from depots in Bradford or Wakefield and returning them to Nottingham.

• Carrying out shunting duties and other yard duties at the end of each shift.

• Ensuring all collections and movements are completed safely and efficiently.

• Completing relevant vehicle checks and paperwork.

• Working Sunday to Thursday nights, averaging 45 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous HGV driving experience.

• A flexible approach to driving and yard duties.

• A reliable and professional attitude.

Pay & Benefits:

• £16.50 per hour basic pay.

• Additional £2.49 per hour night shift premium.

• 45 hours per week.

• Consistent night work, Sunday to Thursday.
