Role and schedule

• Class 2 Driver 2D Shifts and Hours: Monday to Friday. Start Times: 05:00 am. Min 10h guaranteed per shift.
• Class 2 Driver 2D Rates of Pay: Monday to Friday 2D 17.37 inclusive of your holiday pay (PAYE only).

About the role

GI Group are recruiting class 2 Drivers for a position with our clients based in Warwick. The ideal candidate will be placed with our well ADestablished client. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for over many years. The class 2 Driver will be placed on a temporary 12 week period between Monday to Friday.

This role is commutable from: Daventry, Brackley, Banbury and the other surrounding areas.

• The Class 2 driver role is due to start in September, running until Christmas.
• Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys and this position may include some multi drop runs (Up to 10 per shift).
• This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job.
• The Class 2 driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

The perfect candidate

• Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
• Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph
• Previous HGV work experience is preferred, but not essential
• Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
