Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Daventry is seeking a Class 2 Driver to deliver white goods to retail customers, contributing to efficient operations. Shifts start between 05:00 and 07:00 and typically last 10–12 hours; the salary is up to £35,926.80 per year with an unsocial rate of £3.33 before 06:00 and after 20:00.

Qualifications

• Hold a full, valid Cat C (Class 2) driving licence with minimal points.
• Valid driver CPC and ability to perform heavy manual handling.
• Good communication skills with customers, colleagues and site team.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a range of lorries to deliver white goods to retail customers.
• Complete scheduled deliveries within required timeframes.
• Carry out pre-trip checks and ensure goods are loaded and secured.
• Unload heavy white goods using equipment like sack barrows and tail lifts.
• Deliver to correct locations and maintain professional customer communication.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report delays promptly.
• Manage workload with high safety and reliability standards.
