Job summary

Booker Group plc in Pontefract is recruiting Class 2 drivers to join our Transport Team. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailers, with handball and manual handling required, possibly outside in adverse weather.

Shifts are 4 x 11 hours with overtime paid after 48 hours and a night premium. Availability for 48 hours per week and flexible hours is essential, with routes varying daily.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 2 licence
• Holder of a valid Driver CPC
• Able to deliver excellent customer service
• Experience of multi-drop deliveries
• Available to work 48 hours per week (overtime possible)

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock safely to independent retailers

• Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
