Job summary

VTA Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver on a night shift for our client based at a busy depot in Middleton. You will deliver goods to business customers with routes planned in advance and operate modern, well-maintained vehicles.

This role involves manual handling, load securing, and working Sunday to Thursday with an 18:00 start. The position is temp to perm, offering weekly pay, free on-site parking, overtime opportunities, and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• CPC and Tacho Card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Competent at securing loads.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Good timekeeping.
• Ability to communicate with the public and be a company face.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to business customers (B2B).
• Manual handling and loading/unloading at customer premises.
• Follow planned routes; operate on a night shift.
• Maintain compliance and vehicle standards as required.

Job description

VTA Recruitment are looking for a Class 2 Driver on a Night shift basis for our client. Based out of a busy depot in Middleton, you will be responsible for delivering goods business to business, All routes are planned in advance and vehicles are modern & maintained.

This role does involve manual handing as you are require to take stock into customer premises.

Job Details:

• £38k per annum
• Sunday to Thursday
• 18:00 Starts
• Temp to Perm position

Requirements:

• Full valid UK Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Be competent at securing loads
• Be flexible in your approach to work
• Good timekeeping skills
• Ability to communicate in an appropriate manner due to working with the public and being a face of the company
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
