Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established supplier of heating fuels and energy solutions. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role based in Ware, with multi-drop deliveries and manual handling required alongside driving. You must hold a valid UK driving licence and a Class 2 / Category C licence.

The job involves physical work and a hands-on approach, with 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Pay is £16.91 per hour, with on-site parking and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Previous multi-drop or delivery experience preferred.
• Must be physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail and commercial customers.
• Deliver fuel-related products safely and efficiently.
• Carry out regular manual handling and physical labour as part of deliveries.
• Load, unload and move products as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Follow transport legislation and health & safety procedures.
