Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Tamworth for a temporary role with Monday to Friday shifts and optional weekends. Earn £16.00–£18.00 per hour, with weekend rates up to £20.00 and a typical weekly take-home of £700–£900.

Weekly pay and a genuine temp-to-perm pathway make this a stable opportunity with a well-established employer. Candidates must hold a valid Class 2 licence and Driver CPC with a Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous.
• Customer-focused delivery service is required.
• Safety boots and high-visibility vest must be worn.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of building products to customer sites.
• Drive modern curtain-sided vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused delivery service.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately.
• Assist with minimal manual handling where required.
• Follow all road transport, health and safety, and company procedures.
