Job summary

Driver Hire Inverness is seeking an experienced Class 2 driver for ongoing placement in Inverness. The role involves operating tipper vehicles on site projects, transporting soil and other materials between local sites, and occasionally using a low loader to move plant machinery.

You will be paid PAYE £16.50 per hour with overtime rates (£18.75 OT, £21.01 OT for ADV PAYE). Immediate start, full-time ongoing placement with a minimum eight-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (HGV) Licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points; no DR/TT/IN convictions.
• CITB Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 tipper vehicles on site projects.
• Transport soil and materials between local sites.
• Move plant and machinery using a low loader when required.
• Load and unload various plant equipment and secure loads.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and adhere to site safety procedures.

Driver Hire Inverness is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver for ongoing work based in Inverness.

This is a varied role involving the operation of tipper vehicles transporting soil and other materials between local sites. You may also be required to operate a low loader transporting plant machinery between the same locations.

Typical Duties May Include:

• Driving Class 2 tipper vehicles on site projects
• Transporting soil and other materials between local sites
• Moving plant and machinery using a low loader when required
• Loading and unloading various types of plant equipment
• Securing loads safely using straps and chains
• Completing daily vehicle checks and following site safety procedures
