Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd is recruiting for reliable Class 2 Drivers to support a healthcare operation based in Brackmills, Northampton.

You will deliver healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes across the UK, with up to 11 drops per day, including London. This is a handball role with training on MHE equipment and requires completing delivery paperwork and adherence to GDP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Physically able to perform the role.
• Reliable with a good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes.
• Make up to 11 deliveries per day across the UK, including London.
• Perform handball duties and may deliver to hospital departments or patient rooms.
• Unload safely using MHE such as pump trucks and Linde equipment.
• Complete delivery paperwork and PODs in a timely manner.
• Follow healthcare, safety and GDP requirements.

Job description

We are looking for reliable Class 2 Drivers for our client's healthcare operation based in Brackmills, Northampton.

What does the job involve?

• Delivering healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes
• Up to 11 deliveries per day across the UK, including London
• This is a handball role and may involve delivering products directly to hospital departments, clinics or customers' rooms
• Safe unloading of products using pump trucks and Material Handling Equipment, including Climb Stackers and Linde equipment
• Full training will be provided on all MHE equipment
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
• Following all healthcare, safety and GDP requirements

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00

Vehicles

• Drivers may be required to operate 3.5T, 7.5T, 12T and 18T vehicles, depending on the route assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
