Job summary

The Best Connection Hanger Lane is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a premium food distributor in Park Royal. You will deliver high-quality products to restaurants, hotels and catering businesses across London and the surrounding areas.

The temporary role is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. After 12 weeks you may secure a permanent contract. Overtime opportunities and staff discounts on premium food products are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card required.
• Food distribution experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely and on time to customers.
• Load and unload goods and handle products with care.
• Complete vehicle checks and report any issues.

Pay: £18.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary to permanent, with a permanent contract offered after 12 weeks

Class 2 Driver for a premium food distributor in Park Royal. You'll deliver high-quality products to restaurants, hotels and catering businesses across London and the surrounding areas.

Working pattern

The temporary role is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Once permanent, you'll work two Saturdays in every four, rotating between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday shifts.

What you'll do

Deliver orders safely and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Load and unload goods, handling products with care.

Complete vehicle checks and report any issues.

Follow health and safety and food safety procedures.

What you'll need

A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.

Previous

Class 2 Driver experience; food distribution experience is preferred.

Good knowledge of London and the surrounding areas.

A professional, positive approach and strong communication skills.
