Job summary

A transportation company in Kent is seeking a full-time Class 2 HGV Driver. The role involves safely transporting goods and performing deliveries, requiring two years of HGV driving experience and a CPC qualification. Flexibility to assist in warehouse operations is preferred, with standard hours from 6am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving HGVs.
• No more than 3 points on your Driving License.
• Good knowledge of road safety and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move HGV/Company vehicles.
• Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Handle heavy items with safe manual methods.
• Assist in warehouse operations as required.

Class 2 (26 Tonne HGV)

We are currently recruiting for an HGV Driver to support our client’s busy Transport and Warehouse department.

• Full Time - 42.5hrs per week
• Dasy Shifts
• 6am to 3pm

Experience and requirements

• HGV category C
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• No more than 3 points on your Driving License
• Driver CPC
• Tachograph Card
• Good physical health, as some heavy lifting is required
• Good knowledge of London and the surrounding counties

Main Duties

• To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of an HGV/Company vehicle, as required
• Performing scheduled deliveries and collections to and from customer sites as required
• The safe movement of heavy items, using safe manual handling methods
• Experience of using Tail lift
• Safe operation of Power assisted Pump Trucks whilst delivering to customers
• A flexible approach assisting in the Warehouse (Preferred)
