GXO is seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver for a permanent role in Preston Brook. You will work full-time Tuesday–Saturday, 06:00–07:00 start, and 48 hours per week with annual salary £41,725.65 plus overtime.

Responsibilities include multidrop deliveries, accurate time records, safe vehicle operation, and clear customer communication. Benefits include holiday pay, workplace pension, healthcare, dental plans, and funded CPC training, along with extensive training opportunities and family

Qualifications

• Previous experience in multidrop deliveries is preferred but not required.
• A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no disqualified endorsements).
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal.
• Willing to undertake pre-employment DBS check and commute to Preston Brook for shifts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver home improvement products to customer premises on a multidrop basis.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using Tachomaster and manual entries.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally and efficiently.
• Ensure products are checked off and proper delivery documentation is provided.

Here at GXO, we’re working together with B&Q and are looking for highly experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Home Delivery team in Preston Brook (WA73GE).

You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Tuesday -Saturday, with a start time window of 06:00 -07:00, contracted to 48 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver home improvement products to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicate with in a polite and courteous manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
• Be prepared to commute to Preston Brook (WA7 3GE) for the required shift pattern
