HGV Class 2 Driver – Rushden

Type: Ongoing, long‑term work | Pay: £22 per hour + holiday pay (PAYE)

Start Date: Immediate (following assessment)

Your Role

You’ll be delivering goods to convenience stores using a Class 2 (Rigid) vehicle, following pre‑planned routes and ensuring the highest levels of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate your vehicle safely and professionally
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries (6–8 per shift)
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork
• Follow all road safety and transport regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service every time

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Proven Class 2 driving experience
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DRs, CD10s, IN10s)
• Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused attitude
• Flexibility to work to changing schedules
