Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for our client in Winchester. This role involves operating water tanker vehicles as part of an experienced drainage team, with full training provided and ongoing support.

A permanent position may follow successful probation, with overtime available and weekend work optional to maximise earnings. The role runs Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 16:30pm, with regular overtime and opportunities to boost earnings by weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 licence required, CPC card and tachograph knowledge.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a water tanker.
• Assist with drainage and blockage clearance.
• Remove excess water from roads and public areas.
• Travel between scheduled jobs throughout the day.
• Follow safe systems of work and health & safety procedures.

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our client based in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you'll receive full training, work alongside experienced operatives, and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position following successful probation period.

The Role

This is not a multi-drop role and involves no heavy lifting.

You'll be operating specialist tanker vehicles and working as part of an experienced team carrying out drainage work.

Daily duties include:

• Driving and operating a water tanker
• Assisting with drainage and blockage clearance
• Removing excess water from roads and public areas
• Travelling between scheduled jobs throughout the day
• Following safe systems of work and health & safety procedures

Full Training Provided

No tanker experience? No problem.

Training will be provided covering:

• Vehicle and equipment procedures
• Safe systems of work
• Drainage and tanker operations
• Job completion processes

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Previous tanker or drainage experience is beneficial but not required
