Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers in Birmingham to deliver cages to stores, with manual handling and tail lift work required. Shifts include full-time and part-time, with weekend work. A minimum of 6 months Class 2 experience is essential.

Pay ranges from £16.00 to £19.28 per hour, with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. Immediate starts, full induction, and ongoing shifts are provided.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence with at least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC card required.
• Valid Digi-tacho card required.
• Up to 6 points on licence with no DD, TT, DR, CD or IN endorsements.
• UK resident with ability to travel to site for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle.
• Single- and double-decker work.
• Deliver cages to stores.
• Manual handling required.
• Decant stock from cages at some stores.
• Operate tail lift and pallet truck.
• Perform standard vehicle checks and paperwork.
