Overview

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a change? Are you ready for the next challenge in your driving career? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join our team in Mossend. You will be working 48 hours per week, delivering goods to a number of customers on a flexible work pattern to support work/life balance. Operational and customer needs would dictate the need for flexibility with various shift patterns available.

  • You will be paid an hourly rate of £15.00 per hour (plus additional 6th shift payment and overtime payments available when required)

What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Accurately and safely deliver goods to various retail customers
  • Operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
  • Completing ad hoc warehouse tasks while not driving
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
