A logistics company in Methwold Hythe is looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their team. The role involves long-distance driving, with an average of 3 deliveries daily. TLP Recruitment are looking for aHGV Class 2 Driverto join our client based in Lympne

A fantastic and rare opportunity has become available for X1 HGV Class 2 Drivers to join one of the UKs best-established companies supplying furniture to schools, businesses and residences across the country.

Due to the nature of this role, a DBS check would be required.

It will also involve long distance driving, including nights out between Mon-Thur every week, you will be averaging 3 deliveries a day, the rest is driving time!

A successful candidate will become part of a highly experienced and knowledgeable team on a temp basis, with an opportunity to progress to temp to perm if you have the right attitude!

Duties:

• Daily vehicle checks
• 2-3 Deliveries a day all across the country.
• Comfortably operate a C2 vehicle with a tail lift.
• Unload customers' goods into the room of choice.
• Minor assembly work is required but full training provided.
• Keeping your vehicle clean
• Completion of relevant paperwork
  
  

What do we need from you?

• FULL and current HGV Class 2 Licence
• Full DBS check (We can arrange this)
• Must hold a Digi Tacho and CPC Card
• No more than 6 points on your Licence (No DR10 or IN10)
• Must be competent with Drivers rules and regulations
• Understanding of health and safety
